STORY:This is our OG varietal. It’s what brought us to the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley in the first place and is one of the main reasons we started this whole thing over 56 years ago.

VINEYARD:This wine comes from one single block on our property in Oak Knoll. These specific vines were planted in 1998, our philosophy being to let the grapes shine and tell the story. You take care of the land and vines and they’ll take care of you.

FUN FACT: In the early ‘90s, Kevin Corley (2nd generation) chartered a small plane at the Napa airport and flew up to Oregon to look at some special clones of Pinot Noir. These happened to be some of the first Dijon Clones to legally come into the US…and we got them!

The Corley Family came to Napa Valley in search of a vineyard site to grow grapes of heart, purpose, and place. Jay Corley, first generation, was obsessed with Burgundy (Pinot Noir and Chardonnay) and set out to find property specifically to grow those varietals.

That brought us to the Oak Knoll District where we were some of the earlier winegrowers in this region dating back to 1970. Over the past 55 years, we’re fortunate to be in the Napa Valley sweet spot where it’s cool enough to grow great Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon!
